Gangam Style

So I’ve seen this video about 2 dozen times now, and I never get tired of it. In case you’ve never seen this, it’s the biggest thing in music right now. The artist is PSY from South Korean, I heard he attended Berkley for college- thought that was cool. He was on Ellen, SNL, and in several interviews. ENJOY THE CHAOS

Oh yeah, over 200million views and counting..

Second Homemade Dart

Second Homemade Dart

Well, assuming that you’ve all read my first homemade dart post, I’d like to share my second prototype. I took a solid metal rod and sharpened it. I put the aluminum tube (like the one from the first dart) as a grip, then wrapped light wire around it for a grip. I jammed a goose feathers onto the back of the rod and wrapped in with wire to secure it. It looks pretty rough and it is not quite as accurate…. BUT fun as a lawn dart!

First Homemade Dart

First Homemade Dart

I’ve had a dartboard in my garage for years, but I’ve either lost all my darts or broken them. Being short on cash I decided to try making my own. I used a small, hollow aluminum tube, flattened and sharped one end, flattened, split, and pinched a feather in the other end. I tied a very thin gauge wire around the tube and the feather to secure it. The tip is more knife-like than needle-like but it’s super fun to throw and it literally took 15 minutes to make.

Wine and Harvest Festival

Wine and Harvest Festival

Had a great time at the Cedarburg Wine and Harvest Festival before I had to go to work

This is what I did:

1. Went on a hay ride
2. Drank a 1/2 yard of blonde root beer
3. Smelled over 15 different types of tea
4. Ate a blackberry jam turkey sub
5. Drooled over quadruple chocolate dipped caramelĀ apples
6. Signed up to wine prizes
7. Walk around a lot
8. Touched a pumpkin over 2 1/2 feet in diameter
9. Window shopped
